Savory Southern Fried Turkey
1 each of turkey, (20 lbs.)
1 cup of sea salt
5 shallots of shaved
5 cloves of garlic, crushed
- Heat the chicken broth to a boil with all the ingredients to infuse.
- Remove from the heat and cool.
- Place the liquid into a large container, bag or clean bucket that can accommodate the turkey.
- Brine overnight.
*This liquid can also be used to inject the turkey
