This was a 6-month feeding study to test the effects of a Mediterranean diet (including fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and legumes) on cognitive function and psychological wellbeing in an older population (>65).

Key Findings

Key Findings: Results are still in progress for this study, but it is the first of its kind to provide a cause-effect evidence for the effect of the Mediterranean diet, which includes nuts, on cognition.
