This was a case-control study in 534 patients diagnosed with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in China. Authors examined the relationship between nut consumption and NAFLD. Nuts in this study included peanuts, walnuts, and seeds.
Key Findings
Key Findings: For men who ate the highest amount of nuts (including peanuts), nut consumption was associated with a 57% reduced risk of NAFLD compared with men who did not consume nuts.
