The aim of this study was to find dietary patterns associated with cognitive function in Taiwanese adults. Authors studied 1245 older persons who enrolled in the Nutrition and Health Survey in Taiwan.

Key Findings: Results showed that a dietary pattern that emphasized phytonutrient-rich plant foods like fruits, whole grains, nuts and vegetables was associated with better cognitve function in older adults.
