Methods
Authors recruited 782 primary liver cancer cases and assessed dietary data. The objective was to examine the role of various dietary patterns in the development of primary liver cancer.
Key Findings
An urban prudent dietary pattern that included nuts, soy, eggs, dairy, and mushrooms was associated with the lowest risk for liver cancer. In contrast, a high meat and preserved food dietary pattern was associated with an increased risk for primary liver cancer.
