In this study, authors looked at the relationship between dietary patterns before/during pregnancy and gestational age at birth and birth weight.

Key Findings: Limited evidence in this review showed that healthy dietary patterns were associated with lower risk of preterm birth and spontaneous preterm birth. Dietary patterns that were high in nuts, fruits, vegetables, legumes, and seeds were protective.
