Methods

This paper was a systematic review of 10 randomized controlled trials involving 374 participants. The aim of the study was to look at the relationship between nut consumption and vascular function.

Key Findings

Studies showed that nut consumption significantly improved vascular function. However, more research is needed in this area. Although this review did not examine peanuts extensively, authors mention that one of the main compounds that helps with this is arginine, which is highest in peanuts compared to other nuts.
