Methods
This Iranian study looked at the relationship between nut and legume consumption and measures of brain health in 3,172 adults between 18-55 years old. The measures examined included depression, anxiety, and distress.
Key Findings
Key Findings: Results showed that regular nut/legume consumption was associated with a 66% lower risk of anxiety in men. This relationship was not found in women, however.
