Methods

This study utilized data from the Nurses' Health Study. Investigators examined 15,467 women who had completed a dietary survey on their intake of nuts, and who had completed a cognitive function test. Authors looked at the relationship between long term intake of nuts and cognitive function.

Key Findings: Higher long-term intake of nuts was associated with better average cognitive status for all cognitive outcomes.
