Methods

The MIND diet takes components of the Mediterranean and DASH diets that are known to improve brain health. The diet includes both peanuts and peanut butter. In this study, researchers looked at the relationship between MIND diet adherence and cognitive decline with aging.

Key Findings: Results showed that a higher adherence to the MIND diet was associated with a slower decline in cognitive scores with age.
