This study investigated 566,398 participants aged 50-71 in the NIH-AARP Diet and Health Study. Authors looked at the relationship between nut/peanut butter consumption and mortality.
Key Findings
Key Findings: Although peanut butter was not associated with mortality in this study, total nut consumption was associated with a significantly reduced risk of cancer, cardiovascular, respiratory, infectious, renal and liver disease mortality.
