Methods
This cohort study examined 20,742 male physicians over an average time period of 9.6 years. The objective was to look at the relationship between nut consumption and mortality.
Key Findings
Key Findings: Data showed an inverse association between nut consumption and mortality from all causes and cardiovascular disease. For participants consuming 5 or more servings per week, nut consumption was associated with a 26% reduced mortality risk.
