This article reivewed 18 prospective studies that examined the relationship between tree nut/peanut consumption and mortality.

Key Findings: Authors found that nut consumption was associated with reduced risk of death from all causes, with the strongest reduction for coronary heart disease mortality. It was noted that the benefits from tree nuts and peanuts can be achieved at a relatively low level of consumption.
