Methods

This study was conducted in Iran with 1984 participants. Authors collected dietary data to examine the relationhip between nut consumption and risk of diabetes.

Key Findings

Results showed a significant 53% decrease in risk for diabetes in participants who consumed nuts 4 times per week or more vs those who consumed none.
