Key Findings: Results showed that p-coumaric acid was able to target the neurotransmitter GABA, and subsequently decrease anxiety and stress. Authors noted that p-coumaric acid had similar effects for reducing stress as one of the leading anxiety-reducing drugs, Diazepam.
