The authors isolated human prostate cancer cells and treated them with procyanidins from peanut skins
Procyanidins induced cancer cell death and prevented cancer cells from growing. The authors conclude that "procyanidins from peanut skin have the potential to be developed as an anti-prostate cancer agent."
