This study examined the protective effect of procyanidin A-type compounds from peanut skins against hydrogen peroxide damage in prostate cancer cells

Treatment with the peanut skin compounds mitigated cell damage from hydrogen peroxide. Authors conclude that "procyanidin A-type dimers from peanut skin have the potential function in preventing oxidative stress damage of prostatic cells."
