Methods

One question patients living with Parkinson's disease commonly have is, "Does my diet/lifestyle affect the course of my disease?" The aim of this study was to investigate lifestyle factors that are associated with Parkinson's disease (PD) progression.

Key Findings

Key Findings: Consumption of nuts, seeds, and nut spreads were associated with a reduced rate of Parkinson's disease progression. Authors also found that supplementation with Coenzyme Q10 (a compound found naturally in peanuts) was associated with reduced progression of the disease.
