Methods

This Korean study examined 5306 Korean adults. Investigators divided them according to their peanut, almond, and fine nut intake and they were followed for 10 years.

Key Findings

The results showed that peanut, almond, and fine nut intake (>15 grams per week) was associated with a reduced incidence of metabolic syndrome in men and women.
