Methods

The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between vegetarian diets and depression in South Asians living in the United States. The study included data from 892 South Asians.

Key Findings: Among vegetarians, there was a 43% lower odds of depression. Authors conclude that vegetarian diets were inversely associated with the prevalence of depression in this population.
